Jenn recommends: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

Letters from Charlie are altogether haunting, nerve-racking, hilarious, and insecure. These letters help remind us, or give us foresight into life as a teenager. Through the uncertainty and vulnerability of beginning high school and having no friends and on to drugs, parties, music, and feeling infinite; Chbosky reveals the loner inside of all of us and asks the questions we are too afraid to ask. Through Charlie, we are able to once again grow up and make mistakes.
